South Africa long white beach

South Africa disposes of a 3000 kilometres long coast! The water temperatures, the beaches and the visitor’s figures are accordingly different. Because of the cold Bengula stream, which glides along the west coast, the water temperature reaches there maximum 17° C.

At the east coast bathing is more pleasantly, what the warm Agulhas Stream, coming from the Indian Ocean, provides for. At the Garden Route the November is right till April for swimming. At the northern coast of KwaZulu-Natal the water the whole year is very pleasant (up to 24 ° C).
Here one finds wonderful lonesome beaches. Also at the Wild Coast sunbather and swimmer, who love the calmness, come fully at their cost.

Quite differently on the beaches of the main bathing resorts: who searches bustle, is right here during the season. In the lagoons one should omit swimming because of the hippos and crocodiles.

Strandfontein is favored by swimmers very much. The McDougall’s Bay is suitable by plane reefs protected and very good for swimming.

One finds nice and popular beaches in the west of the Mossel Bay with Still Bay, Witsand, Infanta, in addition, with Muizenberg at the False Bay and Sea Point, to a suburb of Capetown. At the Walker Bay whales could be observed between June and November. Sandy Bay is the nude beach of Capetown.
